Book Coaching

This coaching is for Christian women who feel called to write a non-fiction book, but feel overwhelmed or stuck and would like some direction and encouragement from someone who has been there before.

I can help. I have self-published three books, collaborated on two self-published anthologies, and helped numerous others on the path toward self-publishing their books. I’ve also attended writing conferences, written book proposals, and spoken with agents and editors regarding the traditional book publishing and hybrid publishing route.

I can help you:

Conceptualize Your Book:
-Mine through your hard story to find your hope story.
-Brainstorm and organize the content of your book.
-Write a one sheet or book proposal if needed.

Write Your Book:
-Create a writing plan/routine that works best for you.
-Overcome writer’s block or other writing-related obstacles.
-Provide encouragement and accountability to keep you writing.

Publish Your Book:
-Determine which route of publishing may be best for you (self, traditional, or hybrid publishing).
-Plan your next steps toward publication.
-Plan your book launch.
-Plan your platform growth and book marketing strategies.

For those self-publishing, I can provide personal recommendations for professional editors, cover designers, and formatters that will fit your budget.

All coaching sessions end with a time of prayer for your writing and your next steps. I will also check-in with you via email in-between sessions to ensure you’re moving forward and assist if you’re feeling stuck. You do not need to go this writing journey alone!

Some clients choose to only meet once or twice to help them plan their next steps and ask any questions. Others prefer to meet weekly, monthly, or quarterly for continual assistance with writing, publishing, and book launching, and for accountability. We will work together to determine what works best for you, your schedule, and your budget.
